Join me for this special art event with a delicious high tea at the beautiful historic property “Vine Cottage” in Castlereagh.
With March 2021 event booking out so quickly, I have made arrangements for the next event, consisting of painting & a gorgeous high tea.
This Art workshop is designed especially for beginners however, experienced painters are welcome.
Vine Cottage is truly amazing and we’ll be taking in the ambience whilst we work on some lovely flower paintings in the morning before having our high tea.
Vine Cottage is fully air-conditioned, cold drinks & snacks will be available during our workshop time.
I have made special arrangements for workshop attendees to have time to explore the property and enjoy the magnificent views.
Inclusions (Everything is included below for the workshop fee)
A lovely high tea with drinks, all dietary requirements covered.
2 hour painting workshop in watercolour style with an experienced art teacher.
Use of all paints, brushes, palettes and you take home your finished artwork.
A gorgeous historic location with plenty of parking and easy access.
Air-conditioning and cool drinks while painting inside lovely Vine Cottage.
Beautifully decorated tables with fresh flowers for art inspiration.
Weekend Art Retreat
Friday 4th June to Sunday 6th June 2021
Total cost $725 per person twin share room or
single rooms are $925.
Itinerary
Friday
4pm Arrival
Checking into rooms, welcome to our group and introductions.
Supper/light dinner
7 - 9pm
2 hour intro workshop on a small 40cm x 40cm canvas.
Saturday
7 - 9 am Breakfast
9am to 5pm Full day of painting
High tea will be provided for lunch with sandwiches, sweets, teas and coffee.
6:30pm Dinner at a local restaurant.
Sunday
7 - 9 am Breakfast
From 10am Final painting session for 4 hours finishing by 2pm.
We will enjoy a grazing box to keep us going.
Our final session will be finishing off and exploring some oils.
Imagine being a participant at an art retreat that is nature and flowers inspired and being able to paint in a beautiful rustic barn alongside your luxury accommodation located in a lovely rural setting.
Come and be totally immersed in learning new skills and techniques over 2 glorious days of relaxation and inspiration with like minded people.
This one of a kind retreat is a beginner focused art retreat for women who enjoy good food, great company and love flowers & nature.
To be held in the lovely Hawkesbury Village of Kurrajong, this will be a weekend not to be missed.
A Beginners Retreat.
All use of paints, brushes, mediums is inclusive in the pricing but if you do have any favourite brushes you prefer using please bring them along otherwise this special weekend is focused on women that haven’t painted before or beginners with little experience.
In saying this we do welcome painters at any level to come and join us.
Everyone will have plenty of attention as we are limiting numbers to 8 students.
Girls Weekend.
We will complete a few different pieces over the weekend inclusive of the Friday evening, where we will start our journey after sharing a light evening dinner overlooking the garden.
Our Friday night workshop will be a lovely intro to the weekend and completed on 40cm x 40cm painting in acrylics.
Our Saturday workshop will be flower inspired with fresh flowers to inspire our session.
There will be plenty of inspiration on hand however feel free bring along any images that inspire you to create.
We will be using mainly acrylic paints and mediums. Sunday morning is time to finish off and to try some oil painting.
Inclusions
A gorgeous house in an acre of country garden setting with a lovely rustic barn to use for our painting. The barn is air conditioned with comfortable seating and easels. Plenty of natural light.
2 nights luxury self-contained accommodation in single or twin share rooms. Full kitchen and luxury bedding.(As per the website)
Use of all paints brushes, art materials and surfaces used for the weekend.
Fresh flowers, inspiration and styling which will be used to create our paintings.
Friday evening supper, continental breakfasts both mornings, Saturday high tea lunch, Sunday grazing platter and all morning tea coffees, tea, coffee and refreshments. BYO wine. Saturday night dinner at a local restaurant at own expense.
A quiet location with parking with plenty of space. Balcony areas to relax and take in the views.
Lovely Kurrajong Village less then 1 minute drive.
Our group has full exclusive use of the property.
Intuition from an experienced teacher of over 15 years. Local Kurrajong resident.
